RPG BUILD 12.3. RPG Build 12.3 has been deployed to field sites. There are no interface changes and the build will enable the Automated Volume Scan Evaluation and Termination (AVSET) algorithm at all non-Dual Pol sites. Click here for more AVSET information.
RDA BUILD 13 WILL RESTORE CMD and AVSET. When a WSR-88D is retrofitted to Dual Polarization, one down side is the site will not have the Clutter Mitigation and Detection (CMD) or Automated Volume Scan Evaluation and Termination (AVSET) functionality. These functions will be restored in RDA Build 13.0, scheduled for deployment in August 2012. Click here for the Dual Pol deployment schedule.
